| Additional Notes | Mayo Clinic Arizona has a newly established Clinical Neuropsychology Fellowship dedicated to providing comprehensive advanced training for clinical neuropsychologists. The two major rotations are Outpatient Adult Neuropsychological Assessment and a unique Neurosurgical Populations rotation that includes brain mapping methods. Additional minor rotations include the Mayo Health Action to Benefit Independence & Thinking (HABIT®) program, Executive Medicine Brain Health, and Concussion. Approximately 10% research time is afforded for fellows to engage in a wide range of research areas. The breadth of experience during the fellowship will provide trainees for careers within a multidisciplinary medical, academic, or community setting. Mayo Clinic Arizona harbors a supportive environment that values patient care, education and research in a collegial and collaborative setting that offers trainees the opportunity to enhance their clinical expertise, confidence and leadership. The Mayo Clinic Arizona fellowship was established to train a new generation of clinical neuropsychologists who can take advantage of utilizing brain mapping combined with traditional neuropsychological assessments to provide state-of-the-art care to clinical populations. The Fellowship is enthusiastically supported by Mayo Clinic Arizona’s multidisciplinary team providing neurological care. Patient assessment is designed to fulfill requirements for board certification as well as for Arizona licensure. All of Mayo Clinic Arizona’s 5 Clinical Neuropsychologists are board certified. Applications to this program are due on December 1, 2024. Applicants must submit all required materials to the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education as noted on our program website (see below). Additionally, applicants must submit program-specific application materials uploaded either to APPA CAS or mailed directly to the Program Director. We know that you have not completed all requirements of your doctorate degree at the time of application. In place of the requested copy of your diploma, we ask that you have the Director of Clinical Training from your doctorate program submit a letter indicating that you will meet all requirements of your doctorate degree by a specific date in 2025, prior to commencement of postdoctoral fellowship training.
