TITLE: Clinical Functional MRI and Neuropsychology

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Dr. Benjamin will be discussing the use of Functional MRI in assessing patients with epilepsy. He will discuss the questions fMRI can and cannot answer, how it is currently used, and how the language system appears using fMRI. Finally, he will talk about the role interested neuropsychologists can play in fMRI and how those interested in becoming involved might approach the field. After this talk attendees will be able to:

State why clinical fMRI is a cognitive assessment.
State two questions clinical fMRI can answer.
State a first step they could take to begin learning clinical fMRI.
