APPCN-TCN Mentorship Program

The APPCN-TCN Mentorship Program provides a unique opportunity for current postdoctoral trainees, recent postdoctoral graduates, and early-career neuropsychologists to gain valuable experience in peer-reviewing for one of our field’s premiere journals, The Clinical Neuropsychologist.

This program offers several exciting opportunities!

How to become involved:

Q: I am interested in becoming a mentor. What are the qualifications for mentors and how do I get involved?
A: Mentors should hold a faculty position in an APPCN-member program and/or board certified in clinical neuropsychology, and be actively involved in research and peer-reviewing. To apply, please complete this form.

Q: What is the time commitment for mentees and mentors?
A: We request that mentors commit to working with at least one mentee per academic year and that mentors and mentees review at least 2-3 journal submissions per academic year.

Q: I am a current postdoctoral trainee or recent graduate. How do I match with a mentor?
A: If you are a current postdoctoral trainee, please inform your APPCN Training Director of your interest in the APPCN-TCN mentorship program. Once your director approves of your participation in the program, complete the sign-up survey on the APPCN website. Recent graduates can simply complete the sign-up survey.

Thank you for your interest in the APPCN-TCN Mentorship Program!
