For the adult resident, an optional part-time 3-month rotation through the Battle Creek VAMC may be considered, depending on mutual needs and interests.
For the lifespan resident, at least 50% of clinical experience will be with pediatrics. Additional patient exposure through specialty clinics at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital (e.g., neurofibromatosis, tuberous sclerosis) may be arranged.
Residents will have the opportunity to supervise baccalaureate and/or graduate practicum students.
