Emphases of Training Opportunities (Adult, Moderate)Research: 40% - Fellows will be involved in NIH-funded studies in neurocognitive outomes in aortic valve replacement, carotid artery disease, coronary disease, stroke recovery, functional neuroimaging, and mechanical cardiac devices. Didactics: 10% of time is spent on Neurology Grand Rounds, Neuropsychology Case Conference, Neurology Resident’s Noon Lectures, Geriatric Grand Rounds, Brain Cuttings, and Epilepsy Case Conference. UAB offers many other didactic opportunities.
