Call for Applications for APPCN ABPP Scholarships
Application Deadline: January 13, 2023
APPCN offers scholarships to support candidates working toward Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
Three scholarships are available at each of three stages of the ABPP application process: the written test, practice sample submission, and oral examination (nine scholarships total). Scholarships will be awarded as reimbursement of the expenses for the stage applied for. Individuals may apply for a scholarship for more than one stage, but applications submitted for the January 2023 deadline must be for expenses paid in calendar year 2022.
Applicants must have graduated from an APPCN Member Program, and must not have funding support available from their employer to support ABPP application costs (i.e., individuals whose employer pays for completion of the ABPP process with funds specifically earmarked for this purpose or from a general fund are not eligible).
APPCN strongly encourages applications from individuals from historically underrepresented backgrounds, such as underrepresented racial and/or ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, or individuals from socially, culturally, economically, or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds that have presented challenges to a career in clinical neuropsychology.
