Call for Applications for APPCN ABPP Scholarships

Application Deadline: January 14, 2022

APPCN is soliciting applications for scholarships to support candidates working toward Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).

Three scholarships are available at each of three stages of the ABPP application process: the written test, practice sample submission, and oral examination (nine scholarships total). Scholarships will be awarded as reimbursement of the expenses for the stage applied for. Individuals may apply for a scholarship for more than one stage, but applications must be submitted within one year of completion of the stage for which the scholarship is requested.

Applicants must have graduated from an APPCN Member Program, and must not have dedicated funds available from their employer to support ABPP application costs (i.e., individuals whose employer pays for completion of the ABPP process with funds specifically earmarked for this purpose are not eligible).

APPCN strongly encourages applications from individuals from historically underrepresented backgrounds, such as underrepresented racial and/or ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, or individuals from socially, culturally, economically, or educationally disadvantaged backgrounds that have presented challenges to a career in clinical neuropsychology.

For details regarding the application process, download the Application Form.
