Graduate training of residency applicants:

Preferred: clinical psychology, neuropsychology
Not accepted: school psychology, behavioral medicine, health psychology, counseling psychology, applicants from non-APA accredited graduate schools or internships

Primary emphasis: Adolescent and Adult

Emphases of training opportunities:

Strong: outpatient and inpatient neuropsychological assessment/consultation, neuropsychological assessment, neuropsychological consultation, neuropsychological rehabilitation, interdisciplinary team consultation, supervision by resident of other providers
Moderate: psychotherapy, forensics, research

Availability of patient populations:

Strong: traumatic brain injury, stroke/cerebrovascular disease, disorders of consciousness, tumor, anoxia, hydrocephalus, cerebral infection, racial/ethnic minorities (African-American, Hispanic)
Moderate: multiple sclerosis and related conditions, dementia, Parkinson's disease, geriatric conditions, psychiatric disorders
Weak: ADHD/learning disabilities, HIV/AIDS
